Poulan went through or sold through 4 names. In order as I know of them (POULAN MANUFACTURING CORP., POULAN (BEAIRD POULAN), Poulan PRO, POULAN/WEED EATER, POULAN (ELECTROLUX). As with other saw companies they were sold under other names (rebadging) and had other saws made by other companies rebadged under the poulan name. I will cross these saws under both names to help were I can. As was seen in the late 60's early 70's companies were being bought and changing hands more and more. So as companies bought each other out some saws were carried over to the new name company and just renamed with new new labeling and most of the time different color schemes.
