This saw was advertised as the world's first direct drive chainsaw.   This saw had some guts with an 85.5cc engine.  A swivel rear handle for felling/notch cutting and a float type carb, makes it a pretty cool saw with some history.  This saw was quickly upgraded or had a couple changes made but nothing major and renamed I.E.L. HB.  The I.E.L. HM model was the model with an all position carburetor (the Tillotson, a choir to rebuild LOL.)
