DANARM 125

This saw came from a saw shop in Idaho that the previous owner had stuffed away on a shelf.  For as clean as the saw is, I assume it was a demo or trial saw.

The only thing I did was replace the carb diaphragms and she ran like she was new!   Factory specs on RPM's is 6,000 so any one with a good ear and knowledge of the saw can really open it up. Close inspection showed a two head and a HUGE 2.5" (63.5mm) piston. I have seen a good many across the pond in The UK and Australia but only a few state side.  Mechanically it is straight forward like an old 50-60's style saw that was built around the engine.  This had some nice features; a solid oil pump,  deep clutch shoes, and a Tillotson carb.  This would be an easy saw to keep going if nothing major mechanically was damaged.  All minor tune up parts are still available. There are a decent number of saws abroad (across the pond) available, so this saw can see many shows, exhibitions, and events to come!  All in all a well built saw that at idle thumps and bounces as any 2 piece head-124.5cc saw should!!
